Welp. A collage really isn't my idea of a challenge, but it works for what I wanted to do - show off my pretty dress. Heh. I found a lovely sim to roam at as well!

Week 9 Photo Challenge - "Cliches"

Cliches 

Cliches are fun. They are, after all, cliches ...for a reason. I chose to go with a common movie cliche - 'the make over'. This refers to the girl (and in a few rare cases, the guy) being 'made over' from what is considered the ugly nerd type to the more popular prom queen type. This type of cliche are found in teen/young adult type movies .. Grease, She's All That, Mean Girls, Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, and so on.  To be fair...It all started with My Fair Lady...darn your lovable cuteness Eliza!

So...here we have nerd girl and the made over ...whatever she is. To be honest, I was distracted chatting with people while I did this one.

Week Eight - Photo Challenge - Long Exposure

 Ok. So this weeks challenge is "Long Exposure". This is a trick that photographers do to show movement in a still photo. It's relatively easy to do in RL, you just take a photo and leave the lens cap off for 5 seconds or longer, and you capture movement of light, or water...or a person. Well, this is a photo challenge where SL fails; since the camera in SL will only take one photo at a time. 

My only option for this is to take multiple pictures and splice them together and mimic the effect. I chose to show the "movement" of the water...Frankly, it turned out kinda lame...but I did it ...so...meh.

Week Seven - Photo Challenge - Red

Week Seven of this lovely Photo Challenge, and the them is "red". 

I had photos for this taken already, but didn't like them...so after a crappy day today, I retook them. I like these better, but I am unsure if I like them more because they fit my mood, or because they have meaning and the other pictures didn't. Heh. Anyway...I chose a fitting song to go with it. Everyone has bad days, right?

I did another one...I know these are pointless, and silly - but... Ok, I have no good excuse for doing them. 




 --What TV gameshow/reality show would you like to be on? 

I think I'd kick ass on one of those cooking shows, where you compete for the best dish. I'd probably suck in reality...but in my head - I'm a genius chef with mad skillz. 

 --What was the first movie you bought in VHS or DVD? 

I actually remember this...I bought Labyrinth on VHS with birthday money or something. I think. 

 --If you had one million dollars to spend only on yourself, what would you spend it on? 

Everything I could find. I'd buy a house, car, resteruant, glitter factory...etc etc etc. 

 --One place you've visited, can't forget and want to go back to? 

Clearwater, Florida. It's beautiful there..or was. 


 --Do you trust easily? 

Not as much as I used to.

Uh. I overthink things, and probably jump into things at the same time. I'm cool like that.

Reality, lol! But, nah...let's focus on happy things instead. Gah.

Many variables would need to be included to answer this properly. Such as, is anyone looking?, is there blood on said money?, ...ya know...stuff like that.

My laptop, cell phone...I COULD go without those, but I'd be cranky.
